Where You Should Be: Flogging Molly at House of Blues
After celebrating their 20th anniversary and releasing their sixth studio album Life is Good in 2017, Flogging Molly will be making a stop in Houston just in time for St. Patrick's Day. The tour began on March 1st in South Carolina and will conclude in Oregon on March 24th.
Since 1997, the Celtic punk band has kept high energy audiences engaged in their chaotic performance. Their latest album, Life is Good, includes songs such as The Hand of John L. Sullivan and The Days We've Yet to Meet that feature the the energetic, foot-tapping, upbeat sound they have become known for. The album also includes softer pieces such as The Last Serenade (Sailors and Fishermen), a bittersweet and wistful tribute to those who pursue their dreams.
In addition to touring different cities, Flogging Molly has hosted a yearly Caribbean cruise since 2015. For the past three years, Flogging Molly has sailed out of Miami each March. This year's cruise will take place on the Norwegian Sky from April 20-23 and will feature a line-up including The Offspring and Ladwagon.
For Flogging Molly fans in Houston, the tour will roll through the House of Blues on March 8, 2018. The show starts at 8 pm, but doors are open at 7.
