Shredding Steel-Steel Panther Claw Their Way to Houston

Wasted Too Much Time featuring Stone Sour

Voluminous, heavily-teased hair? Check. Skintight leather pants? Check. Gloriously irreverent attitude? Check and check. With a comedic and over-the-top onstage presence, Steel Panther has no problem flipping hair and turning heads, both for their musical chops and explicit lyrics. If you’re as curious as we are, keep reading. They’re a little NSFW – don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Members Michael Starr (Ralph Saenz), Stix Zadinia (Darren Leader), Lexxi Foxxx (Travis Haley), and Satchel (Russ Parish) got their start in 2000 by performing parodistic covers of 80s hair metal songs. It wasn’t long before they released their first album Hole Patrol. Since then, they’ve released four more albums, most recently Lower the Bar in 2017.

While their exaggerated 80s style and sound and profane lyrics to songs such as “Gloryhole” and “Death To All But Metal” may not strike everyone’s fancy and perhaps border on offensive to some, we encourage an open mind. Steel Panther’s image may be comedic, but their musical skill is not. The only thing they shred harder than their tank tops are their guitar solos. Their songs might just transport you right back to the 80s and leave both your jaw dropping and your head banging.

Whether you’re a long time Steel Panther fan or someone who has stumbled upon them and become curious, Steel Panther will be performing on March 21 at House of Blues. The show begins at 8 pm with doors opening at 7 pm.

Steel Panther will continue to tour throughout the country as well as making stops in Australia, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, and Canada from now until September 7.

Tickets are available for purchase on Live Nation:
