Fresh off of a performance at New Orleans' famous Joy Theater, Taking Back Sunday and Coheed & Cambria will roll the tour buses into Sugar Land’s Smart Financial Centre Thursday night for an evening of power chords and fans singing their hearts out.
Starting with 2014's Happiness Is, TBS have shown a more mature and focused approach of late. Their latest record, 2016's Tidal Wave, shows a harder edge with driving riffs on tracks like opener "Death Wolf."
The amicable departure of founding member Eddie Reyes has not slowed the band down: the boys in TBS have already stamped their passports in three countries in 2018.
The co-headlining set with Coheed & Cambria makes this an incredible 2-for-1 bill.
Coheed is in a transition, as they move on from their 2015 record The Color Before The Sun and lead into their upcoming record Vaxis-- Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures. The latter drops on October 5.
Openers are Warped Tour vets The Story So Far, coming to us from Walnut Creek, CA, in the East Bay.
