Weekly Houston Show Listing 2.3.23

It's late on a Friday afternoon, but if you need some last-minute plans for the weekend, I've got a mini-listing for you!

FRIDAY (TONIGHT IN LIKE A FEW HOURS)

Our friends at Last Concert Cafe have a groovy lineup featuring Garrett T. Capps and local favorites India Tigers in Texas, Go get your groove on! They go on at 8, so hurry on over there for good vibes.

For something a little louder, check out The End! Tonight they have a stacked lineup featuring Abstract Genesis, Gash The Reaper, Stick!, Gypsi Rose, orion224, Kim Jong Un, Loserface, and 5th Spirit. For all that sound, the cover is only $12-doors at 8!

Check out Black Magic Social Club for a sweet birthday show featuring Demonic Hen, Rooftop Boxer, and Holy Hell. Doors at 8, $10 cover for some solid jams.

If you are interested in some mellow tasty jam band goodness head on over to The Continental Club, Houston, TX to check out a night of amazing music-check out Brodie Lane and one of my favorite bands I caught opening for another excellent cand on Splice's bill, Folk Family Revival. Doors at 8.

SATURDAY (tOmOrRoW)

All the cool kids will be at Bohemeo's, but not drinking coffee like they normally are, instead, they'll be at a sick show. Check out Laguna, Acid Toad, Demonic Hen, and DGS for a measly $10.

If you are looking for an awesome release party, go visit our friends at The End for a night of modern metal. Check out new music by Blight featuring sets by Alpha Virus, SecondWind, inbalance, and more. $10, doors at 7.

Check out the best birthday bash in town at Trip Six HTX. This lineup is thicc with Your Disorder, Death Waiver, Shread The Deck, Boof, Brewtality Inc, Overtime, Pretty Shitty, and Bottom of the Food Chain. This almost festival has doors at 5 and is $15 for a full day of music.

SUNDAY (ITS A FUNDAY THIS WEEKEND)

THERE IS A WEEKEND MATINEE, this is not a drill. Come rock out with me and a sick lineup this Sunday afternoon. Check out the talents of a Houston classic The Hates, Municipat Bats, Yaff, and Fair Enough.
