Hollywood Undead's latest music video, Whatever It Takes (Mixtape), off their latest album V (Five)
Hey, remember those crazy Hollywood Undead dudes you'd listen to at full volume in inappropriate locations? We remember driving around with windows rolled down, rapping every crass line of, "Everywhere I Go," when we were teenagers. The days of Hollywood Undead's past sound were glorious days indeed.
Hollywood Undead has made a transformation in recent years from shock rock/rap to producing more refined tracks, while still managing to sound a bit grimy. The group's latest album release, V, exhibits a more "grown up" sound, while still keeping the gritty mix of rap with metal guitar accents that fans grew to know and love. Tracks like "Your Life," and, "Whatever It Takes," will probably get added to a workout playlist once you finish jamming to them. Lyrically, the band is creating tracks that manage to be raw while still being somewhat uplifting. Want to check out their new sound? Or perhaps relive your glorious teenage rebellion days? Then be sure to check them out while their in town this Thursday May 3rd at House of Blues Houston with Bad Wolves.
